Our customers and partners have been instrumental in driving the development of our products since the very beginning. Inspired by ever more unique, challenging and complex projects, our development teams are always looking to implement new and innovative features to ensure we remain ahead of the competition. We’re also continuously developing the software that runs on our hardware, with full versions always available free of charge – including all future updates!
Pharos History
Founded in 2004 as part of the Carallon group, Pharos is an independently owned product development house specialising in dynamic lighting control systems. Carallon was set up by seven engineers and developers who’d previously worked together at another iconic UK company – acclaimed lighting control specialist Flying Pig Systems, originator of the Wholehog lighting consoles. This history of practical lighting experience led to practical lighting control design. All our products are designed and manufactured in-house. This includes each product’s industrial design, the software, the electronics and the final assembly. By keeping control of the entire design and manufacturing process, we’re able maintain the highest possible standards in quality assurance.
